Here is a thread that needs to just die.... If you don't use it you don't care. If you do, you want to keep it. Please somebody, put this thread out of its misery.
No, it is just that it's full of people who don't use it, who say to get rid of it. "I've never tried sushi but I don't like it", comments. It has just devolved. Maybe a new, productive approach would be to ask Tapatalk users ONLY, how important it is to them, what not having it would mean to their usage habits, and if revenue is truly an issue, would they contribute to keep it?
What sparky and I gleaned from this thread and poll was a much clearer picture of how many users actually use TaT.
I also am not clear on the need for apps. Not judging, genuinely curious what the apps are doing to help. The shave Den is great for me in Chrome on my android phone, properly sized for my screen. Logged in, I can just tap once on a picture to see a larger version. Maybe other forums are less advanced and user friendly?
Well, Tapatalk for instance gives me all notifications from all forums in a single place. With a mobile browser version, I must either enable email notifications or login into each forum separately. With some mobile versions of forums it is problematic to navigate to the last page quickly (maybe not with TSD), and some of the editors are not really useful from a phone. Last but not least, Tapatalk lets me add photos very easily.
As previously noted most of us who use Tapatalk use it to manage our activities on multiple forums simultaneously, and to seemlessly handle photo uploads. Sent from my Nexus 5X using Tapatalk
Thanks for clarifying, I get it now, I know how frustrating it can be to have something that works well and then it changes or goes away.
When I have to go that route, I have been using Imgur. I think it is way more user friendly than PB for the guy who just wants to post the occasional picture and then walk away. No idea about people who actually create and maintain albums.
