Oh man, RAD grabbed ahold of me an just wont let go. I've been into this wet shaving thing for about 8 months and I have amassed 81 razors (not counting the 16 I have up for sale right now). Yes you do. Only 7 injectors. That's not nearly enough. To be fair, I have more DE razors than injectors also, since I started on them earlier, and there are still a couple of DEs that I'd buy if I found them at insanely low prices. On the other hand, I don't have any straights yet. I don't want to deal with the blade maintenance on a "real" straight, but I've given some real thought to a Feather AC. Not right now, but maybe some time.
You do have a problem... Your still missing some great razors. You need a Merkur future, a merkur slant and a Gillette single ring to name just a few. I see you only have 2 red-tip's ? Your missing some important years in the red tips.:sad024
It's very nice to know there are folk out there who got it worse than me. I'm only in the 60's. That said, in addition to the fine suggestions that preceded mine I cannot believe you do not have a Merkur 38C or a Filarmonica-those are my faves. If you can get your hands on a Mulcutto Slant do not pass it up.
Yeah, I got into injectors later too, a couple months ago actually. Plus there isn't nearly as much variety with injectors. But I'm working on the collection. LOL! I do still need to find a 55 redtip, after that I'm good. Actually, If I never get a modern DE, that will be quite OK with me. I have no interest in them whatsoever. Half of the draw for me is shaving with a piece of history. Plus, I'm pretty stingy. I don't like paying a lot for a razor. Modern DEs are way more than I've paid for any razor I have.
