Cork is firmer, and less likely to allow side to side movement, while still protecting the razors. Foam might be good for the top, because of the tails. Dogs playing poker. Or, as per Ray Stevens, a painting of Rambo that glows in the dark.
How much room is left from the top of the dividers to the top of the box. It looks like you could almost put in another row or a pull out shelf. Like in the top of a foot locker. Sent from my LG-LS997 using Tapatalk
Funny, I had read @Bookworm 's explanation at least twice (maybe three times)(slowly) before reading your note. To quote Jethro Bodine; "Uncle Jed, don't interrupt me when I'm cipherin'".
@twhite , You might want to leave room for a few small desiccant packets to retard moisture. You can purchase desiccant packets or make your own using Fresh Step brand crystal cat litter. If the box is deep enough you could potentially have a layer of desiccant on the bottom and then a thin layer of cork (or felt)(as already suggested) ...just a thought
Less than 1". Once I put some sort of cushion on the bottom e en less. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
If the slots are big enough to hold the razor in its box, you could put labels on the end to make them easier to find. It looks great. What did you use to make the liner? How are the pieces joined? I'm impressed.
I use one of these for my DE's - it spins around for easy access and the pie-shaped drawers work good for DE razors
When I get home tonight I will take the dividers out and take some pictures. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
I don't really know. Maybe spices or hardware? I've seen pictures of them online and one of these days I'd like to own one. And then of course, convince the wife to let me have it in the living room since it wouldn't fit in the bathroom.
A few nice cigar boxes is what I'm picking up soon. Just have to wait for my friend to finish selling the cigars.
