I have found all my razors in the wild with the exception of the of my 1947 Super Speed that I found on E-Bay. I like picking them up and giving them a good inspection. Also, sometimes you can get some background on the razor. I also believe you can get some good deals. My Gillette Slim was only $1.00 and my two Schick Injectors were $3.00 each. But I have to say I like looking and buying other stuff, like Fire King Jadite tableware. I am sure that I am a minority in this regard.

The 2011 Muhle R41 is one of the very few modern razors out there I'd like to get.

So is our only option to find one for sale on the Bay? I doubt the manufacturer maintains two models... or do they?

B/S/T's on shaving forums may be even better - or ebay, etc - as no, I don't think they maintain both versions in stock.

Did btw, the R41, 2011 come in both 'regular' and 'grande' versions?

There is also a vendor that makes 3D printed top caps that are supposed to turn a 2013 into a 2011.

Mühle discontinued the 2011 model. They can be had on occasion, used, but the asking prices have more than doubled. Originally, they had both standard and grande versions (same head, different handles).
