After seeing @TheFiveO's report on Big Shave West, I decided to give Regiment Shaving a shot. It's veteran owned(and y'all know I'm all about those that have and continue to protect us from the barbarians). After looking over the website, I decided on "High Speed". Service was quick. Ordered on Saturday and it was in my mailbox Wednesday. A hiccup by USPS caused that. This is a tallow based soap that has shea butter and bentonite clay in it. The scent profile contains lemon, lime, lavender, amber and white musk. To be honest, I picked up the lemon and lime, but not the rest. Using JR#161, which is my small container specialist, using the dry brush technique it took about 60 seconds to load. Went to the bowl and about 45 seconds of swirling produced a gorgeous slick cushiony lather. The citrus scent really came to the forefront. I am using a GEM SE and the blade mowed down my weekday stubble. 2.5 passes and my face felt very smooth and moisturized(damn autocorrect). Overall I'm definitely gonna be ordering again! HOOAH!
Second shave with "High Speed" today. It didn't take long to get dialed in with this soap. With the JR#161 NY Mets Special Edition brush, sixty seconds on the soap, forty five in the bowl and there was plenty of lemon/limey goodness to spread on my mug(the one that looks back at me in the mirror). Loving this soap.
*sigh* Going to have to look at them now. Must resist buy button... I do like the names, and enjoy citrus scents.
I smelled all their scents at the big shave west and I got to tell you that each one was awesome! I forgot to go back and buy one..
Mini Focus with "High Speed" is over. Really nice soap. I'll be going back again for something new in the future! HOOAH!
Had a shave this morning with the "High Speed". '52 Super Speed Black Tip/Shark combo. Whipped up a nice slick lathering and got a near BBS for my efforts. Love this soap!
Back on my blade Focus for the GEM Featherweight. Since it's Memorial Day I brought out the "High Speed". As before using JR#161 I was able to whip up a great lathering. The GEM/PAL combo mowed down my two day growth with alacrity. I really do like this soap. Memorial Day- Lest We Forget
So, a three pass near BBS with the "High Speed" today. Lemon limey goodness abounded! Already penciled in for my 4th of July shave!
I've got a sample of Regiment Shaving's "Reveille" that I'm gonna use tomorrow. I'll let y'all know what I think.

"High Speed" is on the schedule for Sunday. Along with my 1911 Gillette Single Ring OLD loaded with a Voskhod.
"High Speed" in the morning. Gonna use JJ#1 the USS Belleau Wood(CVL-24) tribute brush to whip it up.
