I just saw a thread asking how to repaint the numbers on an old Gillette adjustable, and I have used a method that is extremely easy to do and fantastic looking. Go to any drug store and buy the blackest nail polish they have, along with a bottle of acetone, and freely apply it (the polish) over the numbers in a nice, thick coat, and allow to dry completely (doesn't take long). Then wet a small piece of paper towel very lightly with the acetone, and, using a light stroke, wipe the excess nail polish off. The numbers will be completely filled in and beautiful, just like they were from the factory.
