I just saw a thread asking how to repaint the numbers on an old Gillette adjustable, and I have used a method that is extremely easy to do and fantastic looking. Go to any drug store and buy the blackest nail polish they have, along with a bottle of acetone, and freely apply it (the polish) over the numbers in a nice, thick coat, and allow to dry completely (doesn't take long). Then wet a small piece of paper towel very lightly with the acetone, and, using a light stroke, wipe the excess nail polish off. The numbers will be completely filled in and beautiful, just like they were from the factory.

Sometimes the most simple ideas are the best. If mine ever fades completely I'll give this a try.

Most definitely. Now do you have any brilliant ideas for releafing the gold letters on a razor box.
