Today was my first use of the great tribute brush crafted by @jimjo1031. The brush is very light and maneuvers great. The 20mm Boar knot is breaking in nicely. It is equally at home in large and small mouth containers. It has great backbone and loads easily. As far as the execution of concept, it as you can see is excellent!! Jim, you made a great brush and I thank you!
Continuing on with my CVL-24 tribute brush this morning. MWF was the designated soap. Dry brush technique and some drips of water yielded a bowl & brush full of Fatty goodness, culminating in a near BBS shave. This brush is an awesome lather maker!
Still using JJ#1. It has nice backbone and still has the scritch that I like in a boar. Going to use it on Route 66 "Rum Runner in the morning.
Nice handle! Boar knots are kinda fun! With a boar and R66, you'll have enough lather to degrease an engine block. Almost makes me wanna break out the apothecary mug, Omega 48 and change things up.
Just spent the last week on the road to Columbus GA/Ft. Benning. Got in a few shaves with JJ#1.. Since it's the most compact brush I own, it'll more than likely be my travel brush.
