Anyone ever seen anything like this?? My biggest question is why... why do you need a light on your razor????

Hello Larry, in the past five years I have seen at least five of them pop up. I think there must have been some purpose for them, but I know not what.

It was just a novelty razor I think. But that base plate and head is from a goodwill razor.

For size reference, what battery does it use? To me it does not seem to be AA or AAA, but it could be the camera angle.

I've seen a few suggestions ranging from a lack of widespread electrification at the time it was produced to usage during a wartime blackout.

Personally, I'd love to see a video of someone actually trying to use one. It seems to me that the razor head would end up blocking a fair amount of the usable light output.

I love this part: "... shaving is greatly facilitated and entirely relieved of its sanguinary possibilities." :happy068:

Yup, these kinds of razors were made by several different companies throughout the years. Quite common really.
