Quick run down , I've been using safety razors for 2 months , I've bought the Viking , Edwin De8 and razor rock tech .. razorock tech is my favorite and after tons of blades I really like Astra superior platinum . I saw these on eBay Schick 274 Double Edge Razor and was wondering if anyone has experience with them ? Or recommendations for someone that really likes the razorock tech but feels like purchasing more razors . Thank you !!

I believe the razor you are referring to is actually a Schick Krona. They are great shavers and often overlooked in a word that seems infatuated with vintage Gillette razors. The RazorRock tech is base on the vintage Gillette Tech (go figure). I myself really like the prewar fat handle Gillette tech, so that might be an option as well. Either way I wouldn't pay more then $10 for either a Krona or Gillette Tech.

    Modern or vintage?
If vintage I have a few suggestions, to wit...

:signs011: Andrew knows whereof he speaks. I have one of his Krona's.
IMG_0536.JPG As he said, it's a great smooth shaver that will tame the most aggressive blade. :happy088:

+1 on the pre-war Tech, and the ten dollar part!

Users say the Krona is a mild shaver, and the handle is too long for me.

It is a mild but very efficient shaver. Engineers at Schick were not twiddling their thumbs for the 15 years they had to learn from the postwar Tech and Superspeeds.

Wow the super adjustable looks awesome , I would love to grab one of those , as far as vintage or new I wouldn't mind either . I'm pretty new to this seen and already am completely hooked. Been ordering from Italian barber latley , is there someone else you would recommend and my budget needs to stay under 100 this paycheck for a new razor , thank you for the reply ..happy Friday !!

The MJ90 from RazoRock is a nice razor. 40 clams brand new. The handle might have a few marks, but most seem to be fine. Pair it with a nice sharp blade. RazoRock also has the Baby Smooth in aluminum for the same price. Both aren't bad, but I prefer the MJ90 with an A plate.

I happen to know a guy with an Etsy store stocked full of great vintage razors at very good prices. All well under your budget!:D

It's great. I put the head on a PAA handle I had laying around. This is one reason I ordered some Perma-Sharps.
