So this is my Schick Injector collection that I have forsaken all other shaving acquisitions for the remainder of 2017. (It was worth it.) The Type E's. The two on the outsides are E3. The one in the center is an E2 that opens up to the left. These are my rotation Type Gs. The first three are all G1s. The second one has a textured head I got from @John Ruschmeyer then the third I had @Jayaruh make a handle for. If anybody knows any more about the textured head variations I would love to hear about it. Number 4 is a G6. Then lastly in the group I have a G8. The Type G Collection Set. Most of this I got from @Karl G. The first stacked set are G1s in both the Butterscotch and the Ivory. The next stacked set are the G4s with the Schick 66 on the bottom. All are in real good shape and have boxes for almost all of them. I am wanting to make a shadow box to display them in. Then because I can here is a group photo of all of them.
In a trade with John I got a textured G-1. Maybe he has a secret laboratory where he's cloning them? From an unnamed source I understand Type Gs were made or sold between 1946-1955. Type E spanned 1935-1945. Then there's the little mentioned Type F: 1940-1941. I saw a photo in an auction. I chose to stop bidding when the price got too steep for my pocket.
JEALOUS!! I particularly like the ones with navy and turquoise handles. Those are really neat. I have a G1 and G8 and love them both.
I just recently got an L1 from @twhite and L Type Schick 500 from the Bay. After shaving with the L1 Tom sent me, I have found my new favorite razor. I can't thank you enough Tom. Lets see your Schick Injector collections Ladies and Gentlemen.
OK, you made me get mine out. I have thirteen. Top row: three E3s, one E2, one C3 Middle row: four Gs Bottom row: I1, I2 Hydromagic, L1, M2 Adjustable The first E3 was my Dad's. He made the handle. The third E3 is one I made a handle for. I also have a Pal and a Gillette injector, not pictured.
