Loaded my PAL with one of these blades and had a really great shave. Maybe a tad more aggressive than normal but not out of control. It had a better blade feel and I didn't feel the need to add pressure to get close like it normally wants. Remember when using injector razors you really want to be shaving with the head flat on your face. Anyway I digress. My face is smooth and I am happy. Nice to have another blade choice. These are a winner for me!

Today I started off with the Proline E2 combo and was really paying attention to angle and pressure. First couple of strokes still felt rough so I swapped the blade out for a new Personna, world of difference. I don't know know if I did something to the blade after the first shave but I only got one good shave out of it.

    Round 2:
Loaded a fresh B-20 in my G. Lathered up like always, and cautiously made the first stroke. Night and day from the Pal! Finished the first pass, and could have stopped there. But I chose to do my accustomed second ATG pass, and was rewarded with a dolphin smooth, irritation free, blissfully comfortable shave. I'm going to use this setup exclusively to see what longevity I get from the blade, and maybe swap the one from the Pal into the G to see if it's a bad blade (possibly my fault, first one I loaded) or if it just doesn't work for me in that particular razor.

Just remember every time you handle a blade you risk damaging the edge.

I know, but I won't be satisfied until I try!

    Shaves 2 and 3:
I enjoyed a mid-week one pass shave with the G and Proline. No issues.

Just finished a two pass, BBS shave with the same setup. I could happily use this combo exclusively. Close and comfortable, no irritation, and mows through a few days growth like a hot knife through butter.

How do you load a B-20 without a key?
    My pack doesn't have one.

Here's how you do it. Carefully. I made this a couple of years ago, but it works the same with Proline blades.

    Reloading an Injector Dispenser

New injector blades are hard to come by, and when you can find them, they are expensive. I found a source of blades in the form of mini shaper blades by Personna. They come in a dispenser of 20 blades for $7.94 with free shipping on Amazon. That is about $0.40 each. Compared to 7 for $6.99, that is an excellent price point.

The donor dispenser does not have a key, so I have to transfer the blades to the recipient dispenser that has a key.

Eject a new blade from the key-less dispenser.

You will need to depress the blade or the spring in the recipient
    dispenser.

Very carefully, insert the blade into the recipient dispenser.

Continue to guide the blade into the dispenser until it is all the
way in. Be careful to keep the edge of the blade from rubbing
against the side. Keep the back of the blade to the back.

The key inserts into the right hand slot on the razor. The slide is
pulled back and then pushed forward to inject the blade into the
razor. The dispenser may have to be "giggled" a bit to line up the
new blade with the slot. The old blade is pushed out. Dispose of
the old blade in an approved manner.

Thank you. I still don't understand why they ship them without a key. I throw my used cassettes away. Thankfully I have plenty of unopened packs.

They are made for Schick's barber shavettes, not for vintage injector razors.
