SE SEptember 2017

I will be devoting SEptember to my many SE razors. I will continue to do Straights Saturdays, but every other day will be devoted to SE razors. I will start off with my Schick Repeating Razor C.

Here is the proposed shave for SEptember 1. Feel free to join me here for SE September.

 

Almost September - shave exclusively with a SE safety razor during September.
Only SE safety razors - excluding straights, shavettes and the likes (sorry ) ...
Here the tools I will use:



EverReady 1912 England.



Rocnel.



El Jefe / Cadman handle.



RazoRock "Hawk" black.



Colonial Razors "The General".



ATT SE2.



ATT SE1 aluminum.



Claymore / Maggard MR7 handle.

Can't really follow Jan, but I'll be using a 1930-1940 vintage MMOC I picked up at the fleamarket two weeks ago..

 

This is a valid SE safety razor - so post when you can ...

I have a bunch of SE razors, and I will be using most of them throughout SEptember. However, I will still celebrate Straights Saturdays. Perhaps I will do the second pass with a SE razor. That should count.

 

I'd like to join you and the rest of the gang @Jan Zoethout if I may as I'm participating in an identical one on another forum. Here is my line up and potentially an MMOC that is en route..... The Wilkinson Pall Mall will have a GEM blade as I do not have the original wedge blades that it requires.

Here are the razors I will be using during SEptember. There are 27. The one that will get the most action is my GEM Jr. 1911 lather catcher. It is my Sunday driver.

 

Is this the official thread for SEptember? I'll post my razors later on. I have four SEs and eight injectors to rotate through.

Yes, but the cool kids won't let us straight shavers play.
