Ever since purchasing my first Knockout Shave soap about 6 months ago, I've used it at least once a week. A Tallow based soap that works every time. No matter how quick I need to be or if I add too much water, it lathers up for a great shave. Received the Smoky from http://www.knockoutshave.com in Germantown, TN a week ago and have been running test lathers. Ingredients: Potassium & Sodium Tallowate, Potassium & Sodium Stearate, Potassium & Sodium Cocoate, Potassium & Sodium Castorate, Sodium Lactate, Glycerine, & Fragrance. Lather and Slickness are both 10/10. You can make it how you want it. I like I good pasty lather, but I can make it thin or thick for cushion. This Tallow soap isn't picky over how much water you add. Some are. There is a pretty good sized window. Scent: 10/10. I really like the smell of this. It's supposed to take homage to Creed's Silver Mountain Water. It's not a strong scent. Very subtle. When I first opened the 4 oz plastic container I got a good cologne whiff. Notes of Bergamot and Sandalwood. The sandalwood really came out once applied to my face. Reminded me of walking through a fern patch while in the woods. Price: 10/10. $15.00 for 4 oz. is a good deal for me. Also there is more products on the site. Blades, aftershaves (Fine Products, Country Club, etc) and other soaps such as Mickey Lee's, Dapper Dragon, Country Club, Dr Jon's, Shaver Haven and more. The site is becoming a one stop shop. Overall:10/10. A great soap. The scent is great for me. And the lather is outstanding. I'll be using it the next Friday for KnockoutFriday!!! Here's some lather pics: The load. The Build. The Lather. Now that's what I call a nice review! Complete with plenty of lather shots, so consider me IMPRESSED! Very well done indeed sir. I have been hesitant to pull the trigger on the Knockout brand soaps, because of the subtle scent strength. I wonder which of his offerings might be a little stronger. Well done.

JR Fougére has the most fragrance oil in it. I would say it's the most potent scent I carry. I know for me personally after I shave with it if I put no aftershave products on my face when done just wash the remaining soap off then I will smell the soap scent on my face for a couple of hours after.
Very well written review. Interesting and an easy read. I guess I will have to find some of this soap and try it out myself. Excellent photo's thank you for posting.
