So how do you guys choose your soap rotation?

Does each day have its own soap or do you just choose what you feel like each day?

Which one of your soaps do you find yourself going to over and over again?

Its what I feel like that day. I have quite a few soaps and creams I use , don't favor one over the other. If I like a particular one on any given night I might stick with it another day.

I select either one soap or cream and use it for at least one week. If I am on the road, I may use the same soap or cream for 2-3 weeks at a time. Get bored? No.

I just drop a puck of soap in the mug and use it until it is gone. Sometimes it rotates a little when the brush is swirled on it. The soaps I use the most are Institut Karite and Tabac, and whatever soap that has not been tried yet every once in awhile.

Only with my soaps do I follow a strict rotation - I use one once, it goes to the end of the line, not to be used again until it comes back around.

A different soap every day. I love it.

Pretty much the same thing here, except I use a soap / cream rotation. I have something like 15 or more soaps and 15 or more creams. I am trying to use soap one day and then cream the next.

  7. Whatever happens to strike your fancy as you open the medicine cabinet or storage space is usually a good one. Although lately I've taken to mixing creams foe fun. Yesterday was proraso and godrej, excellent shave with a nice smell and a menthol tingle XD. As if there weren't already enough things to try out!

I use MWF about 5 days a week. It sits on the counter in a wooden bowl so I have to pull something else out if I don't want to use it. The roughly two days each week I use something else, it's based purely on a whim. I've been going to Provence Sante quite a bit recently, but after using TSD soap last night I'm thinking it's due for a little more love.

It's a mood thing. I change my mind two or three times before settling on one. It's fun though.

Pretty much whatever I happen to feel like just then. Only, I'm getting close to the end of a tube of Proraso and a puck of Williams, so for the past couple of weeks, I've used nothing else, figuring that I'll use them up. Only, it takes so long to finish these things off. Amazing how long they last.

Once they are gone, I'll return to my normal routine of a different soap every day.

I'm pretty much the same now.

I just line up my soaps and use whatever is next in line.

The only change I make the is I always test new razors with my dr Harris lavender.

I don know why that soap but I like it the best.

I just beginning to build my soap and creams. I have a nice selection of creams. My two soaps are Van Hagen, and Col Conks. I rotate between creams and soaps. I am amazed at the variety of soaps you can shave with. I have been busy reading the reviews of the various soaps. I am eager to build a collection of soaps.

I usually use whatever strikes my fancy at that moment. If I get good results with a certain product, I'll use that for a couple days in a row until I get bored with it, then off to another. Except Wednesdays, cuz anyone who's anyone knows its "Williams Wednesday"!!

I have Crabtree & Evelyn’s Sandalwood, Nomad and Sienna shave soaps in cups lined up on a shelf. Each morning I pick up the mug on the left and slide the other two over. Such is my rotation. However, when I travel I take TOBS Lavender shave soap with me and occasionally on the weekend I use C&E Nomad shave cream just for the fun of it.

Generally it is "as the mood hits me" each the morning. There are a few instances where this isn't true. If, for what ever reason, I haven't shaved in a few days I will always reach for Tabac. I keep a Pine&Cedarwood shave stick from QED in my travel kit. Its the only soap I take when I travel.

I use my TSD SOTQ up until gone and then use other products based purely on whim. I have been using a TOBS cream(Eton College) lately. I like the freshy scent during these warm months. To cool down I have been using Avalon Organics Peppermint. But that is right now, the SOTQ should be coming soon.

Have a fairly good collection of soaps and creams now, but choose the one that strikes my fancy each morning. Current TSD SOTQ, Proraso, MWF, Van Hagen, etc. Have also been dropping some M-bomb lately with all the hot weather. :D

Most of my wet-shaving life revolved around soaps. This past 1/2 year or so however I have found myself gravitating towards the creams for every shave. Mostly because they are easier & I've been lazy. Here lately though I've rediscovered the soaps. I'd say I pretty much informally rotate, but there's no hard and fast rule. I used Tabac exclusively for a few months last year. I only have a couple soaps I like; the rest are creams.

So this is a long winded version of me saying I rotate...sort of.
