Thanks! By the way, I was shuffling some papers and saw a note I wrote to remind myself to give you a review of the Stirling Sharp Dressed Man. Ah, it was OK, but as a sampler I didn't perhaps get the fragrance that I might if I bought the large size. Of the 4 I got, I've made my decision, and it isn't SDM. But that doesn't mean I rule out getting the larger size later on. Those aftershave samples are tiny. The one positive thing I'd say is that it does smell like an aftershave I could get year-round.
I love the Puros soap scent. To my nose it has a tobacco / vanilla thing going on. The Puros aftershave is also terrific (both scent and feel). Another RazoRock soap and aftershave splash that I really liked (alas, all used up) was the American Barber.
D.R.Harris & Co Marlborough Mahogany Mitchell's Wool Fat Shave Refill Soap or Proraso Shaving Soap in a Bowl You can find all 3 on Amazon. From my experience, Proraso is particularly good if you have sensitive skin and want to avoid irritation. Any of you tried these?

I like all of the soaps in my collection, but my overall favorite is Klar. Great lather, very slick and it stays on my face until I am done shaving.
