Now, I definitely loves me a late 40's/early 50's US Aristocrat -- so much so, that I own 5 of them (in a technical sense, I could say 6, since my '41 Regent Tech is basically the same razor sans end caps), but this is a mind blower!

To put some prospective on this, I have 2 in that same burgundy case, 1 in a similar dark blue case, and 2 in faux pigskin cases (one of which is part of an NOS set) that I paid a collective $245 for -- including the shipping. And they are all as clean, if not cleaner, than that one.

I bet the one that I got for $25 will shave just as good.... I bet that is one happy seller tonight.

Another member of the more money then brains club.
I just scored this for $19.99 including shipping, the case alone is worth more then that.
I'm going to make a custom handle for the razor.

JayKay 3000 posts and all I got was this lousy title

I actually saw that earlier and it was $200 many many hours before that auction ended. So not sniping. There was a nicer set for sale that went for less at the same time.

But it came with one blue blade in the razor.

    ONE BLUE BLADE!!!

That's what put it over the top, folks. One blue blade. . .

I have the identical set that I purchased almost four months ago for my son's 16th birthday. $50 shipping included. And I thought that was at the top of price range.
