Depending on the razor brand, and how tightly you close your razor, the blade may exhibit some degree of flex. I've not used a MicroTouch One (or a Weishi) so I can't speak to how much flex is normal for a blade in that particular razor.
Every safety razor I have used bent the blade in a slight arc. You can see the arc between the top and bottom portions of the razor head on this page. Look at the photo where it shows a closeup of the side of the razor head. You can see how it will bend the blade.
Hey, I think the Micro Touch One probably did more to advance the "cause" of DE shaving than anything else recently! BTW - no the blade is bent by the head of the razor. It should not lay flat unless the Webers are something special.
