Guys, please forgive me for starting a new thread so early - we're invited to some friends to celebrate the Greek Easter.

I test-lathered the new Stirling Glacial Wintergreen soap before, and all I can say is - wowwwwwww!!!!! Whereas there were problems with the original formulation to make it lather, this new version is so easy and the lather is so rich and enjoyable with a really beautiful and true wintergreen scent. The menthol effect from this soap is almost painful because it's so cold, and the chances of your eyes tearing are a definite possibility. This soap has wonderful skincare as do all the Stirling soaps I've used. The Diana Sport balm and the Rubby Dubby Doo are equally as intensely-frigid as this soap.

For the next week I will be using the VDH Luxury shaving soap and the EJ89. The VDH face lathered nicely with my Semogue 1305 boar brush. I made two passes with the EJ89 and Astra Superior Platinum blade for a close comfortable shave. I really like the Utopia long handle. It is heavy but not too heavy, and the knurling makes it easy to handle. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Dickinson's WH and Pinaud Clubman after shave.

Cream: The Real Shave Co., 6 drops TSD "M" Bomb, 3 drops wintergreen essential oil (Brrrrrrr!)
Razor: Merkur HDC
Blade: Polsilver (3)
Post: Cold water, Thayers
Poo-Goody: Osage Rub
2 passes - W, A, touch ups

Eye-watering shave! I've been wanting to try wintergreen for a while, so we picked up some at the local health food store Saturday. I love it! This may not have been @crackstar cold, but it's the closest I've come. Only two nicks, and no irritation. DFS, and my face is still cold.

I pulled out the LASS Woody Lavender today. The Oscar11 brush still fit perfectly in the smallish tub (LASS is using larger ones now). Great lather, great shave! I finished up with Grey Flannel.

I'm not really enjoying the Omega Crema today. I decided to bowl lather and ended up with a pretty light and airy and not very slick lather. I ended up going back to the soap and adding more and going back to my face to slicken it up. 3 passes and done. I think my skin may be having a reaction to the strong eucalyptus in the soap.

Stirling Cool may be my favorite Stirling soap so far. It is very frigid and smells similar to a fresh cut lime. And like all Stirling soaps, it give a very nice shave.

Menthol Monday
Excellent shave. I woke up with a headache, and this shave made me feel better. Frost_Byte is one of my favorite soaps, and it works great with RR/HTGAM lime menthol pre-shave and Krampert's Frostbite. Today was no exception.

Almost a 'No Shave' Day

A bit whipped after the long day yesterday, so I almost talked myself into skipping the morning ritual. But then I came to my senses and thought, "why deprive myself of a simple pleasure this morn?' Grabbed the R41 and had a nice, relaxed 2-pass shave. Great way to start the day.
