    Thank you Jim . With the brush and handle both being brass I just had to pair them together. I like the patina on the brush handle and am interested in seeing the brass razor change over time.

    Day 14 of 30 days of Henckel straights

    I grabbed the 4/8 Henckel today after using the 7/8 for the last few days. I wanted to see how a large change in razor width would affect my shave. It really didn't affect my ability to find the angle. However, it still seems like I prefer the heavier weight of a large razor. Bigger razors just seem more aggressive and willing to cut through the heavy stuff.

    2 passes and a CCS/DFS shave.

    Blade - Feather "Hi-Stainless"

    Seriously, Feather "Hi-Stainless" blades just 'belong' in the EJ Kelvin. The other blades I've tried don't compete. The shaves cut straight through the stubble with zero resistance, so the in-shave experience is super comfortable and the post-shave skin is super-smooth just as if I shaved with a more aggressive razor with zero irritation that I sometimes get with more aggressive razors. The only razor/blade combo I like more at this time is the 1907 Old-Type with Gillette Yellow SharpEdge. Great shave this morning and love this cologne today.

    Blade: Vintage Personna 74 Tungsten (shave #15)
    Brush: Mozingo/WSP Silvertip-24mmx54mm
    Aftershave: YSL M7 Oud Absolu

    WTG-XTG-ATG (adjusted angles for my beard)

    Crowne & Crane Thuringian Forest today. 20 seconds to load the Mozingo/WSP Silvertip. Easy, thick, slick, lather. Personna 74 Tungsten still in the Slim. Excellent smooth, close shave. I finished with YSL M7 Oud Absolu EdT.

    Avon Mesmerize Aftershave balm,cologne,deodorant
    Today's shave was nice. Old west German woody smeared and fluffed the T&H nicely. The fatboy made three passes, very close shave. Not in pic is the omega alum (stung a bit today). The Avon balm soothed that away. Mesmerize everything, I'm smellin' nice.
