My good friend Brian in Wales, a man who is a true conoisseur of good soaps sent me this lovely artisan soap which smells beautiful, has awesome lather, and a strong menthol effect, as well as fantastic skincare. I needed all the cooling that I could get because it's still quite hot here. Man, am I ever smooth. Sorry, no photos!

A long awaited, pleasant, deviation from my standard Proraso/SuperSpeed setup. I'm still not a huge fan of the TBS Synthetic brush; it lathers pretty good but isn't the best for application - too stiff for me. Super close shave with the L1, everytime, even with only 2 passes. VHD Glycerin is amazing; by far my favorite hard soap so far. My wife says the Conk Amber smells like an old man's AS, but I really like it (not as much as Blue Floid though) Have a great day everyone!

This is day twenty-six of the blind blade test, which is the third shave with blade number ten, and the last day of the blind blade test.

All variables remain the same accept for the aftershave. The picture is a recycle from a previous post as I have used this gear before.

3rd razor in my test of Ladas, running them through all my razors to see which ones they work best in. As of now, the Superspeed wins. Fantastic shave, though I did forget to touch up one spot.

Why wasn't I using Bigelow when it was 95°F or higher here? Oh well, I'm enjoying it now.

Today I write a big exam to help me get the accounting designation I want. It is a 4 hour case exam. This shave included the best shaving supplies I own, as I wanted the shave to be as pleasent and relaxing as possible. Needless to say it was a very nice 3 pass shave this morning. There were a few rough spots due to nerves about this morning, but it was a good shave nonetheless.

Another great shave with FaTip/Godzilla/Perma-Sharp combo,2 pass face,1 pass head,BBS.It's really amazing what a great handle will do to a already great head.The Godzilla adds some heft,which makes for a smooth and efficient shave.The only negative thing I can say about the FaTip's is quality control,it's hit or miss whether a aftermarket handle will fit.Plus it doesn't seem to be isolated to one type of head,chrome,nickel,Grande,Piccolo all have problems.But all things considered it still shaves great even with the stock handle.I will say that all 3 of my FaTips fit the Godzilla handle,nickel & chrome grande and Piccolo.Tradere fits nickel grande and Piccolo,iKon Bulldog was a bust on all 3.

Used up the last of the La Toja today. It lasted for about a year in my small rotation, and its been a great performing soap with a nice scent that I'll certainly be replacing.

Very pleasant injector shave! No irritation, so I set aside caution and did 3 passes plus touchup. Smooth BBS result, no irritation!

Love that Schick injector shave!
