Classy looking setup.

 

So you would recommend the Wholly Kaw Fougere Bouquet soap? I have some of the AS, and my whole family and I love the scent. I have debated getting some of the soap.

 

Myrsol Emulsion is the best pre shave product Ive tried.

 

I do still have it and I find the wild brush does benefit from regular 'tubing' as it dries.

 

this was the first time I tried it. I have used the a/s a few times and like it a lot. the soap made a great lather and the scent matches the a/s

DFS tonight with this combination. This brush is a hair loser. I'll bring in a back up brush tomorrow. I meant to use #8 setting tonight, but I forgot. Maybe I'll remember tomorrow.

Yes, I quite like it...picked it up in an antique shop for 6$. It has a nice feel in my hand. My Dad always used one. Now I use my OS mug for my Haslinger Shalfmilch soap.

Thayer's Lavender witch hazel, unrefined shea butter, and Trumper's Coral Skin Food

I'm on a mission to get a better shave with my Slim set on 9, and today's shave was the best yet. I loaded a new blade and checked the alignment (perfect) and exposure (plenty). I paid extra attention during the whole shave, and I skipped the touch-ups. All things considered, I was very happy with the result. A close, comfortable shave with no nicks or weepers. Two more shaves with the Slim, and I'll move on to my Mongoose for my September focus.

This time it's the entire Glacial Wintergreen line-up ecept for the Glacial Spearmint bath soap (wow, is this stuff awesome!) for my shower. The lather, scent, and menthol power from this shaving soap are absolutely brilliant and it's so skin-friendly. The balm soothes, moisturizes and gives so much extra iciness and a couple of splashes of the matching witch hazel are borderline painfully-cold unless you're a true Man of Menthol like little old me. I think Rod deserves a gold medal for putting out such magnificent products. A shave with stuff like this is not only ice-cold, it's also luxurious.

Warm rinse, Maggard alum block then cool rinse
Finished up with Witch Hazel & RazoRock Problem Solver Lime AS Splash

Very nice, two pass + a few touch ups for a smooth work day shave.

The Soap Commander Renewal Shave Cream face-lathered well with my Jayaruh #18 Silver Tip brush. Two passes with my Gem Push-button razor and a GEM Stainless SE blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, alum block, and a final cold water rinse, I finished off with Thayers Lemon WH and then Pinaud Clubman after shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...
