I started off with Proraso Pre Shave. The TSD Iced Lime Shave Soap face-lathered well with the Jayaruh #119 brush. I did the two passes with the Schick E2 and Personna Stainless blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Thayer's Peach WH and then Pinaud Clubman AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

The handle is quite nice for what it is but the shave only cements my dislike for Sensor.

• Burt's Bees aftershave (tube). Nice stuff, would go well on top of Lucky Tiger.

here is my belated Sunday shave:


Razor: Edwin Jagger DE89 / Blade: Astra SP / Soap: Tabac / Brush: Plisson Synthetic / Aftershave: Tabac Aftershave Fluid

Tabac is really one of the very best out there!!! I missed the scent so much!!! Not an everyday scent, because for me it´s too "heavy" on hot days, but autumn or winter are absolutely perfect for this soap. Glide and cushion are top notch, lather builds up easily. The Fluid is awesome...not thin as a normal aftershave and not as thick as a balm. Just right in the middle. You do not need a large amount to get the whole area covered. I was wondering about the skin care...but this is outstanding!!! I L-O-V-E it!!!

My Menthol Monday shave was exactly how I wanted it to be - a perfect three pass BBS work of art. I had sensational, rich, slick, overwhelmingly-cold lather from the Glacial Obsidian soap with that sweet anise scent that I love so much. The moisturizing and soothing effect from the matching balm is also fantastic, it feels very cold also, and it has that same awesome scent. Not only does the Arctique freeze the crap out of you, it smells damned nice and it leaves your skin feeling relaxed and well-protected against irritation.
