Rob, check out Merz Apothecary if you get a chance. I went to the smaller one in the south Loop but apparently the other location has TONS of wet shaving supplies. The smaller store had a bunch but the clerks told me the second location was much better.

If this shave was any colder my face would have fallen off, or I would have gotten freezer burn. The Glacial Wintergreen soap is killer-cold with some of the best lather a man could ask for. I cannot believe to this day how moisturizing and soothing it is in addition to the freeze. The matching balm and witch hazel have that same delightful potent freeze and soothing effect. The Arctique aftershave splash should be used carefully and sparingly because otherwise it'll make your eyes tear all day, not to mention how bitterly-cold its menthol effect is. My new Astra in the Super Speed helped to give me a mega-BBS shave and so easily! :happy088: :happy088:

Another wickedly close shave from the Schick I1/twin blade this morning. The Henri et Victoria Cognac&Cuban Cigars scent is absolutely divine. A dab of the roll on Eau de Parfum in the same scent and I'm set for the holiday Monday here in British Columbia (provincial holiday).

    Prep: Hot Shower.
    Razor: Weber PH w/RazoRock Bamboo
    Blade: Derby Extra
    Lather: Ingram
    Brush: RazoRock 400
    Post: Thayers Lemon WH.
    Aftershave: Fine American Blend
I really like Ingram a lot, great clean, fresh and sorta cold cream. I bought Ingram because Jeff uses it! So my first blade I used was a Derby, I had a bad shave, must have been the blades fault? Wrong! Sharp and smooth. The Weber PH is the razor I've always wanted, I'm so happy I was able to get one.
