    First shave of the new year, old Skool style.
    Prep: Hot water, b&bw lavender and sandalwood body oil massage
    Soap: Cella
    Razor: F.W Engles “Special “
    Brush: Vintage English mad mixed badger and boar
    Post: Hot water rinse followed by cold water rinse.
    Aftershave: Witch hazel/Nivea face cream topped off with The Veg
    All vintage hardware and old school software for a bbs start of 2018. I cannot think of a better bunch to enter the new year with :)

    I've also got a Valobra stick here and every now and then I give it a whirl. Even though it's simple there's something elegant about it!

    After being lazy during the weekend and not shaving, I just had to have one today, even though this freaking cold I got is kicking my butt. Just glad I didn't use a straight today, as I thought about using for the first day of the New Year. I knew that this blade had four or five shaves on it, very slight tugging, but it still performed admirably. Two passes with a hint of touch up for a very smooth and comfortable BBS shave.
