I know what you mean. CB used to hold a few spots in my den too, but now all that remains is a tub of Tonsorial Parlour.

For Monday, same plan as today, save for:

    A.S.-Gillette Gel "Apres Resage"*

    *
the blue tube....I believe there's SOME coolness to it-thus, good for Menthol Monday :).

    Cheers Friends,

here is my Sunday Morning Shave:

Razor: iKon SBS Head w. Juergen Hempel Handle / Blade: ASCO / Soap: Mike´s Natural Soap Pine & Cedarwood / Brush: PAV Brushworks Beasty / Aftershave: Pitralon Classic

Great shave. Today was my first shave with the ASCO blade where many people made rave reviews for. So far so good. Very gentle and sharp, but not as thoroughly as my reference, the Gillette Bleue Extra. Maybe it was me, maybe the razor...let´s see. But it´s definetly a very good blade. There are more razors to get a test-run with...my Gillette Rocket Parat, Gillette Fat Boy and Gillette Fat Handle Tech.

    Let the games begin!!! :):):)

    Hope everyone is doing well.

So...enjoy your shaves and take care.

    Greetings
    Thorsten

    Razor - DaveOcean33 "Atlas"
    Blade - BiC Chrome-Platinum *7th shave
Shave Brush - 20mm GBS Syntethetic 3rd generation
    Suds - Ogallala Bay Rum
    Preshave Oil - Lather & Wood's "Unscented"
    Aftershave - Gabels Bay Rum
Post Shave Balm - Retseliney Hyaluronic Acid Face Serum
Deodorant - Sam's Natural "Bay" Scent
Fragrance - Bigelow Apothecaries No. 32 Bay Rum EDC

Two days in a row of 3-pass shaves with very aggressive razors and no razor burn. I think I'm graduating to the next level of shaving. I don't want to get ahead of myself but lately I've been much more consistent and able to prevent irritation. There is no substitute for getting to know a razor and how it's angles work on your unique face. I know what angles to avoid and where the razors give me problems on certain spots. Before I started getting into classic wet shaving, I didn't think it was possible for my skin to get through a 3-pass shave without severe post-shave irritation and discomfort. But here I am a year and a half later pulling it off and getting the best shaves ever.

Yeah. Aside from my immaculately restored Gillette ABC "Empire" Old-Type, this restored gold plated Old-Type is a close #2 for me. They are fantastic eye candy in my sets. Worth every expensive penny I paid.

First, for those who recognize the handle, this was one @Jayaruh made for my Gem 1912. But I decided it actually looked better on this razor and re-painted it black. Did three passes and had a very nice and smooth BBS shave. I like the Gem 1912, but this one is just easier to shave with. I guess it's the shape of the head that does it.

I LOVE Le Piment de La Vie. I pair the shave soap with my Creed Royal Oud fragrance. I have it lined up for use this week.
