    Been on vacations for 2 weeks. The shave sets were alternating:
    Set 1.
    Merkur Travel/ Feather
    Muhle best badger travel brush in silver nickel
    Valobra shave stick
    Everest ASB from time to time
    Set 2.
    Merkur Travel/ Feather
    Muhle best badger travel brush in silver nickel
    Speick shave stick
    No aftershave needed.
    Love both products, the sticks are great and the quality of shaving is outstanding.

    Not shaving today. Had a nice one with 2 passes yesterday. I don't go for BBS. Right now, barely starting to get sand papery. My preference. In addition, I find that taking a day off helps the skin and the add'l hair growth helps lift the hair while shaving. Enjoy your shaves today gents.

    Saturday; (Update)

    I whipped up a test lather for a pic on an artisan soap. So I couldn't let it go to waste.

    Razor: Parker 22R
    Brush (unidentified cheapo brush)
    Soap: Daisy Mountain Sedona Shave Soap (All natural artisan soap)
    Water: From City Supply Line (Yes I'm tryng to be humorous...probably didn't work :) )
    Blade: Shark Super Chrome

    Thanx again, Luke! Yes, they'll last me a while, as I can get almost 10 shaves out of a blade. Plus I think I might get me a first model someday, so I'll be able to use modified GEM blades. Besides tha one is an open comb razor as well.

    Very nice shave this morning, smooth and close. This is the way my brush ended up from the post "Last one ....for a while". The handle material is called Blue Pearl, very iridescent like Mother of Pearl. It's a little lathering machine.

    What can I say - another very enjoyable shave, and this time with a new cream from Bulgaria which is apparently sold all over Europe. Lots of lather with a beautiful scent which is identical to another cream called Solo Menthol. This Super Max cream however has no cooling sensation although menthol is listed as an ingredient. I received great cooling from the Svoboda balsam and Floid aftershave, and I'll need it, because it is hot here again today! ;) :D

    Llyr Stay frosty, my friends!

    Yeah Nick,this one was rough from the beginning,I'm thinking it's a bad batch of blades.My G and Hydromatic are fine,but my Revere model also has been giving some problems.All from the same batch of blades.Injector type blades seem to be more prone to duds.I even had a Feather Professional that had no sharp edge.I'm going to give the E and the Revere another shot and open a new batch of blades.Blades are cheap no sense giving up on a razor.
