This set-up is only for a true menthol freak like myself because it's so intensely-cold. The Gatsby facial wash is as cold as, or even colder than mentholated creams and soaps I've tried. The Glacial Obsidian soap is capable of making your eyes tear and your nose run - its black licorice scent is nice, its lather is a pleasure to work with, and the menthol effect makes your face feel like it's coming off. The Anherb conditioner and the Rubby Dubby Doo are a great way to prolong the freeze.

The Kiss My Face Cool Mint moisture shave face-lathered well with my Made Rite boar brush. Two passes with my GEM MMBT and GEM Super Stainless blade left me with a close, comfortable shave. After the cold water rinse, I finished off with Thayers Cucumber WH and Pinaud Clubman after shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

I am going to use the WTG-XTG-ATG method again. I have used it everyday this past week and it seems to be working well for me. Yesterday Sunday, I got a "Rudy Castiel Clean Used Car" aka Rudy Castiel Clean Shave. Using this method so why change, what works. I did get a DFS,on Friday, so why change. On Saturday and Sunday I got the same, no I got a BBS Shave if I do say so myself. I had no "Nick's and Weeper's" so the use of the Alum Block was not needed or warranted. I do like the cooling effect of the Alum Block, or Witch Hazel. So I may put some on, again tomorrow morning.
I wonder if anyone else is thinking about a "No-Buy August"?

Today is the first day of Ramadan Bairam. At 7 o'clock we went to the mosque in our neighborhood and prayed for our brothers in Gaza. I'm really mournful for them, I hope there will be a permanent peace for both sides..
I had two passes in total and the shave was super close and I can classify it as BBS all around. Although this is the fourth day of ASCO, it did a great job and I can't deny the help of Proraso green; an excellent soap. Barbasol After shave and Proraso shaving soap have a nice kick of menthol also.

Me too! It has such a strong menthol and nice smell that I crave for almost every summer morning.

Two days off of shaving helped with the irritation I was getting on my neck, but not as much as I'd have liked. The This being the first shave with the Treet Platinum and Aristocrat, it's had to say which one contributed more to the irritation. I've decided that I have too many razors and blades to need to work through a bad pairing, at least for now. I will be finishing the Treet Platinum in a different razor, but will come bask to the Aristocrat later.

I had my 2nd shave with the new RR Artisan Classic and used a different brush. Quick, easy, thick, cushioning lather again. Of course, the Slim and GSB continue to hold up their end too. Nice smooth, close, nick free shave. I finished up with Pino.

It was a cold 2 pass Darn Fine Shave plus on this Menthol Monday. The Yeti Snot shave soap is COLD. The Barbon after shave helps to keep that cool feeling going and the Aqua H2O cologne with it's sweet Citrus Flower scent will have me smelling great all day long.
