Not as intensely cold a shave as my usual Menthol Monday mornings but still a very respectfully-cold shave. The MITA soap is something I've been neglecting lately, so I'll be going with it this time. It smells wonderful, it gives great rich, slick lather, and its menthol power is still pretty strong and enjoyable. I'll be getting additional cooling and soothing from the Gold Bond moisturizer, and the coldest part of this experience will be the Rubby Dubby Doo. I have a new Derby blade all set for action. :) :D

    Dove Men Face Wash
    Williams Mug Shaving Soap
    Jayaruh WC1 Silvertip Badger
    Gillette Black Tip SS
    Rapira Platinum Lux
    CWR, Asma Alum Block
    Thayers Rose Petal WH
    FD Old Spice AS

The Williams Mug Shaving Soap face-lathered well with my Jayaruh WC1 Silvertip Badgerbrush. Two passes with my Gillette Black Tip SS razor and a Rapira Platinum Lux blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, alum block, and a final cold water rinse, I finished off with Thayers Rose Petal WH and then FD Old Spice after shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

    Menthol Monday
Top notch shave today with Krampert's. I used the FatBoy on 9/7/7 with the great lather built by The Colonel. The lather improved during each pass, meaning I should have built it more at first, but also that it is long lasting. Krampert's Finest Frostbite added a pleasing chill with moisture and other skincare at the end.
    Prep: Mickey Lee Lime
    Soap: Krampert's Finest Frostbite
    Brush: The Colonel

That MITA soap is unreal - it's thanks to my dear friend Ryan that I have it. I love everything about it - scent, lather, blade glide, as well as the pretty strong cooling. It helped me to get a wonderful BBS shave and a splash of the Rubby Dubby Doo put all kinds of extra icicles in my face.

First time using the New Improved. Very smooth. The handle and weight is a bit different, but very easy to shave with. I like the bottom part of the handle, a good foundation for my pinky to set on. I like it so far.

A Darn Fine Shave on Menthol Monday. The Frozen Tundra was whipped into a nice and cold lather by the Vie Long brush. The Duck and the Aristocrat did a good job. The Osage Rub brought the arctic chill and the Prada will have me smelling great all day.

Very good 3 pass shave this morning. I did have one weeper just below my chin. Good bit of irritation in the same area. I am sure that both of these are technique related. I have just not shaved much at all with a DE this year so I really need to concentrate on my technique. The Latha soap was super easy to whip up into a very nice slick lather. I'm really not crazy about the scent but at least it dissipates by the time I'm finished lathering. Finished up with a splash of Floid Blue from my sample pack.

Another day with LASS Woody Lavender produced another acceptable lather. I use the word "acceptable" because I believe for most people it will work and do a fine job. I don't consider this a great soap because the lather produced is too thin for my tastes. The wooded scent is growing on me. I believe I have just enough left for one more shave. 2 passes for a CCS .
