It's been a while since I've used this nice cream from Bangladesh. It's full of rich, thick, creamy lather, a lovely lemony scent, and very cooling and refreshing. The Shark blade is pretty well at the end of the road, but it still gave me an excellent shave. It's already as hot as hell here, so the 444 and the Osage Rub acted as an "air conditioner" for my face! ;) :D

This will be the last shave with my micromatic for a bit. I want to test out my gold rocket this next week. The blade was at the end of the road, so I used the preshave to compensate for the lack of edge. It worked as planned and I came out of the shave with only 2-3 small knicks. The final result was near BBS, but also a face freezer! With Tue 3 proraso products being used and the cold water splash at the end, it honestly had me shivering!

It was a wonderful and refreshing way to start the day! :)

Very nice shave again this morning. The DD is a hollow ground that will sing to you through the whole shave. Starting to enjoy the silver tip but think I prefer 2 band. Each brush has slightly different rules for lathering but I have the "tip" figured out now. If any of you use lapping film note whats under it in the photo (2 sheets). Give it a try and see what you think. Enjoy your day.

The Semogue 620 is a great brush and you will be very happy with it. I have the 820 and it is one of my favorites. (I still use the Omega 81052 to death! lol) :D

Thanks I won that brush as a newbie on this forum. I really like it alot. Initially I was afraid that the handle would be difficult to hold, but it is surprisingly easy. It is an amazing brush and has earned a place in my brush rotation.

    TSD Wheat Cream soap, unscented
    Muhle HJM Black fiber brush
    Schick injector with Schick blade
    Aloe Vera gel

Lovely BBS today after skipping my shave yesterday. This time I loaded the brush directly from the tub of cream then lathered on my face. Very satisfactory results!

Prep: Tepid Water Shower, Brush soaking in hot water
    Razor: FaTip Grande in Chrome
    Blade: SuperMax Super Platinum
Brush: 1950's Stanley Flat Top Badger Hair Brush
    Soap: TSD Wheat Cream Sandalwood
    AS: Aqua Velva Musk
Post: Cold Water Rinse, Naturally Fresh Alum, Second Rinse, Double Splash of Aqua Velva Musk.

Since recieving the TSD Wheat Cream I have been trying out various temperatures and amounts of water to build the perfect lather. For me it seems to work best with warm to hot water. With the warmer water temperatures the cream dissolves into the water giving it a skim milk color before you begin to work your brush. Another added benefit for me is that this cream has so much scent your entire bathroom smells good while building a lather.

I took Bruce's (Stroker) advice and used twice as much of Aqua Velva both last night on my evening shave and again today. I will say I am hooked on this stuff. It really is very different from the Jovan Musk that I grew up on. I find the Aqua Velva to par very nicely with the Sandalwood, and leaves a fairly long scent that is noticeable at a close distance.

The shave itself what can I say, I always get great results from the FaTip and Supermax SP blade combo.

    I would rate todays shave a 10.

Pre: Musgo Real Glyce Lime Oil Soap
Family Dollar Deep Cleansing Skin Cream
    Soap: Colonel Conk Lime
Brush: Vie-Long Peleón (12705) Horse Hair
    Razor: Edwin Jagger DE89L
    Blade: Gillette 7 O'Clock Black
Post: Thayers Alcohol-Free Unscented Witch Hazel with Aloe Vera Toner
A/S: Ogallala Bay Rum, Limes & Peppercorns

I bought the Colonel Conk sampler of four soaps-Amber, Almond, Bay Rum and Lime.
The first one up is the Colonel Conk Lime. Not as much lather as my favorite, D.R. Harris Arlington , but still good. It could be the new brush because it is not broken in yet. Nice scent and not overpowering. Third shave with the Gillette blade. Near BBS with a little irritation. As for the aftershave, I like the Ogallala products very much.

Razor: 69 Slimline Gillette Adjustable (set on 9)
Blade: Gillette 7 O’clock Super Stainless (3rd use)
    Brush: Whipped Dog Silvertip
    Cream: TOBS Sandalwood
A/S: Alum Bar & Cold Water Rinse
    A/S: Aqua Velva Ice Blue

I had a two day beard growth when I started this morning. My lather was excellent, full creamy with great lubrication. Went I took the first stroke I felt a tug and began to wonder was this blade already past its prime after 2 shaves. I decided to try one more stroke before deciding to chuck and replace the blade. The 2nd stroke changed my mind about the blade. It was smooth with no tugging at all. I ended with a BBS no of razor burn, weepers, or nicks.

Today was Ladies Day at Hereford Race Course and I had to dress up and accompany SWMBO. I wanted a special shave for the occasion.......and this certainly delivered. It was a great day....the sun was out, and a good time was had by all. I am not a betting man, but as would be expected at a racecourse/Ladies Day........there were lots of fine Fillies to admire;)
I am really impressed with the Cobra. A 3 pass BBS.
