A fantastic, super-duper 3-pass DFS+ shave this morning. No picture today because my wife was in the bathroom with me and well...............she just wouldn't understand. Have a great day everyone!

I got all my goodies from whipped dog but I wasn't brave enough to try my straight today. Being as it is super hot out I went with everything and anything with menthol in it. Very refreshing shave with all the chill, and I love the new brush. It's a resin handle in burgundy with a 22mm silver tip knot so I'm assuming it's a Firehouse Pottery handle? Either way it's terrific and so much bigger than my other silvertip. Now hopefully these guys on craigslist get back to me so I can go buy my miata a hardtop!

Used the same kit for the last 4 days. Before this run, it's been a while since I broke out the OCMM and as always it doesn't disappoint. The brush Steve (Oscar11) made for me has quickly become a favorite. I haven't even thought about using any others since securing the 24mm Finest. Great brush that works well with just about anything.

This is the first time I have used a Schick Krona or the Arko Shave Stick. Very nice, clean shave with no irritation. I had no problem with the scent of the Arko. Face-lathered it and it made enough for more than three passes. Liked the Krona and the Arco very much.

My lather was very good and I got a DFS but a lot of razor burn, a few weepers, but no nicks. I discarded the blade immediately after I finished shaving.

For some reason my whiskers were unusually thick this morning...Look kinda cool...makes me think for a minute of growing a beard...Who am I kidding? I could never go without shaving that long...ha,ha,ha.

3 passes left me pure BBS...I know some cats think these Schick Injectors feel like you're cheating but hey....You're not!!
My Dad was issued a Schick Injector in WWII, thats evidence enough for me of their intrinsic romantic, and historical presence...Now if they shave sooo great and easy that they seem to be too good to be true...Well, I'm not one to look a gift horse in the mouth...

Another 90 degree day means another Super-Menthol Extravaganza which resulted in a great shave. The Godrej Menthol Mist felt frigid, and the Diana Sport balsam is actually colder than the 444 - in fact I think it's even slightly colder than Osage Rub! (and that's cold!)

Got a little sunburnt yesterday so I took it easy on the shave this morning, a quick two pass shave, cool and smooth. DFS at least, have a great day.

Super smooth 3 pass shave. For some reason I seem to be shaving with a lot of Vetiver products. The Cyril Salter cream is a good performer.

 

That is what I used, maybe I spelled it wrong.
Used it again today (arko aqua), and thought there might have been a little bit of menthol in there this time, but it doesn't seem strong to me.
Don't get me wrong, I like the arko asb's for travelling. They come in a very sturdy and compact plastic dispenser, good on the face, a smell that I can not put a name to, and a price you can't beat with a stick.

 

Sorry, missed the word arko aqua GEL. Need to go find me some coffee.
My appologies.

I have a arko gel, but I'm not sure what flavor, but I will check when I get home.

Very nice shave this morning. After a full day in the sun and wind yesterday I opted for some self mentholated Wild Rose this morning.I don't know why I don't use Salters Shaving Cream more often, soap guy I guess, but it never disappoints.

Result: My goal was no nicks or burn, and I succeeded. Using zero gravity to guide me, I accomplished my objective, but got a low grade DFS, which is fine. I plan to work with this for several days to tame this monster once and for-all.
