Don't know why. Even after Glen has honed it twice now it just doesn't seem to give me a comfortable shave. Even caught the back of my left earlobe with the tip and drew blood. Not bad. Just a nick. The jaw line, neck and chin just weren't smooth enough after three passes so I grabbed the Schick to finish up. Guess I was due. It's been quite a while since I've had a shave this rough. Probably last time I used the Injun Still, adding it all up - the coffee, the soap, the Osage Rub, the fact I was using a str8 which is always fun, it wasn't a bad shave. I've just had better.

It has a tremendous lather which is so easy to build up, and a perfect combination of a nice lemony scent and a light cooling effect. This tube I have will be the last one I'll ever have. Today's shave was great.

After 7 shaves this blade still works like day 1!! Finally my face felt the good chill from the Osage Rub, guess my face had to be broken in to the product. Now to load up the Treet for its trial tomorrow.
Hmm that is pretty interesting. Might as well get it plated to keep the look there. If I ever see a sale or a Pils for a good deal I am defiantly going to jump on it.
EJ de89l Astra SP (7) The Dridecker MWF Superior 70 bay rum Yep, you are reading it right. No menthol today :shocked003 ! Totally inadvertent. I never boosted the new bottle of Superior 70 I got. The Astra is on 7 days and I'm going to try again with it tomorrow. Its the first time I used an Astra since we moved to the new house and the water must be better here; no rust! I've never been able to push an Astra this long before, so I'm happy. I kinda want to try the 89l with a Voshkod though, but that Astra in it is earning its right to hang out. All in all, 4 out of 5 blades, nearly 100% BBS everywhere except where my jaw comes to the bend at the back right. Could have nailed it with touch-ups but didn't do any today. Even with no menthol. I think that is the first time in a few months I haven't had menthol, maybe more.

Now, we have to get the house ready for our flooring project next week, and I'll be in Michigan til Thursday .... OH! and it was a great shave today. I lost count on the number of shaves on this blade, but I think I may be up to five and she's still going strong. I think there needs to be an Android app that allows you to load your razors, then keep track of the blades you use. IJS
