For a few days I want to show my big Turkish barbershop brush and Super Speed that I still love them dearly so I'll be enjoying their performaces, then I'll go back to my Plissoft and Junjie. The Glacial Spearmint soap is a bona-fide menthol atom bomb with a beautiful bathroom-filling spearmint scent, rich, wonderful lather and brilliant post-shave care. The Diana balm is totally unscented and loaded with enough menthol to knock out a herd of penguins, and the Arctique aftershave feels like a ton of icy bricks and liquid nitrogen on your face - something tells me if it was any colder it would be dangerous to use!

A note on these blades. They are the CVS brand blade. I believe they are the carbon steel Personna/GEM blade. I have been doing a belly strop with them this week. After rinsing the blade, I do eight strops on each side across my A-shirt covered belly. This completes the drying process to keep the blade from rusting.

It was my first shave with the Old Spice Lime Shaving Cream, and it face-lathered well with my new Jayaruh #47 synthetic brush. It was also my first shave with the brush. It was very soft and did a great job of face lathering. Two passes with my GEM 1912 razor and a GEM SE blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse and alum block, I finished off with Thayers Rose Petal WH and then Pinaud Clubman After Shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Another great shave with a vintage Gillette razor,the personna blade on day three is still like new smooth and sharp.
What can I say about the C.O. Bigelow Shave cream it always lathers up real nice and thick and smells and feels great!!
All topped off with the Barbasol A/S I'm almost ready to go back to work after the weekend(Yeah Right!!).
Sorry no picture this morning I got lazy last night and didn't take one.

Menthol Monday
This shave felt colder than usual for some reason. I nearly shed a tear with the aftershave, and I still feel the cool thirty minutes later. Krampert's soap lathers up very easy and thick, setting up my stubble for a visit from OCMM. The third shave on this blade was more comfortable than the last, thought that could be the menthol talking. Three passes to near BBS without weepers. Pi Neo goes very well with Krampert's woodsy cool scent.

Good morning everyone. Super nice shave this morning... La Toja continues to impress, just a light coating produces enough lather for three passes. I highly recommend this shave stick to my fellow face latherers it's fun to use. It was so nice to get back into a nice groove after yesterdays Derby fiasco!
