Found a mostly used up tube of Proraso Green Cream back in a drawer and put a dab of it on top of the Spearmint soap. Gave it an extra menthol kick and had a great scent to it. Two passes with just a bit of touch up for a very smooth BBS shave.

I saw the Pipe razor thread @DaltonGang started and it put mine to mind this morning.

I won this in a TSD raffle earlier this year and this was only my second shave with it. It was a very pleasurable shave, very easy to maneuver and excellent final result. However, what stood out was the similarity to the feel of my 1941 Russian. In fact feeling the edge with my thumb on each felt similar. They don't have that "sticky" quality and you wonder if they are sharp. They are. And they both have that butter knife smooth feel when using them, like they aren't even cutting. The Russian is both sharper and smoother but the Wosty is the only other razor I have that comes close to the same feeling.

What a luxurious shave this morning. This Eufros is a fantastic soap; great glide, easy lather and a wonderful scent. I had read that the Le Male was a perfect match and it is. One pass with the Supply and two with the Chimera and I ended up with a DFS. I actually was able to go ATG with the Chimera today, a first. Have a great day folks!

Strange. Gaultier is a scent which my brother-in-law wears very well and on me it seems to be horrible. My wife has the women's version and on her it's lovely. I also find the men's version kind of strong.

 

I agree it's very strong. I did one spray this morning and it's plenty. It's been 7 hours since I applied and I still smell it. I do really enjoy the scent
