    Hi,

I recently got several razors on eBay one of which is marked 'Gillette' and 'Made in England' It came in a nice Leather case marked 'Aristocrat' It has a very nice ornate handle which may be aluminum. There is no date code. Any help is greatly appreciated.

    Thanks,

    Many thanks,

That looks like it! It seems much nicer than the US Tech razors from the period.

I used my 1963 English tech and got a smooth irritation-free shave. I ended up doing 3 passes and some touch up. It isn't aggressive but does get the job done nicely. My thanks to those who helped me identify it.

I just found an English Tech at an antique store, no date. Need a little cleaning up. How much should I pay for it ?

Depends on what kind of Tech it is, what shape it's in, does it have it's original case, is it NOS, etc. etc.

Look here and see if you can find it on this page: http://www.mr-razor.com/Rasierer/Tech/Tech.htm
