    Dove Men Face Wash
    Tabac Shaving Soap
    Jayaruh #27 Silver Tip
    Gillette Super Adjustable (new blade)
    Astra Super Platinum
    CWR, Asma Alum Block
    Thayers Rose Petal WH
    Aqua Velva AS

The Tabac Shaving Soap face-lathered well with my Jayaruh #27 Silver Tip brush. Two passes with my Gillette Super Adjustable razor and an Astra Super Platinum blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, alum block, and a final cold water rinse, I finished off with Thayers Rose Petal WH and then Aqua Velva after shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Twenty-third shave of No Variation NoVember.

    New razor,today:
GEM Flying Wing or Bullet Tip (1947) gold tone
    Alba coconut lime cream

On a recent run of the GEM product line. Recently used a OCMM and wanted to try something else in the line up. As luck would have it found a GEM bullet at a fairly local antique store.
A mild shave by comparison. Even attempted ATG with little fanfare. Actually needed ATG to feel like I got a decent shave.
I would say it's to shy for me but maybe a good shave for a younger thinner beard.
    Expecting a Clog-Pruf (1941) sometime next week.

No... it's actually by gillette / art of shaving. I got the brush and stand through one of those selling apps...at an absolute steal. Thanks.

    Feather Artist Club SS
    Feather Professional (6)
    Semogue 830
    MdC scented
    Three passes plus touch-ups
Thayer's Lavender witch hazel, unrefined shea butter, and CC Bay Rum

This was my first three-pass shave (WTG, ATG, ATG) shave during the November focus. I'm near BBS in most areas and DFS+ around my mouth and chin. I missed one little patch on my chin. The Alum and CC Bay Rum were a little warmer than usual. All things considered, it was a great Monday morning shave. I satisfied my curiosity, and I'll return to two-pass shaves tomorrow.

    Happy Thanksgiving week!

    Menthol Monday
I set my Futur at five this morning for my second feather shave. This one with two days growth. The shave felt smoother as it happened, but I still got a couple small weepers. Shea Moisture balm is an excellent finishing move - Shea butter and tea tree oil are an excellent combo for my skin.
    Prep: PAA Ice
    Soap: Krampert's Finest Frostbite
    Brush: HIS
    Razor: der Futur
    Blade: Feather (2)
AS: PAA Lime Ginger Tea Tree, Shea Moisture Balm

After this great "Canadian shave" my face felt so frozen. That Polar Vortex soap can almost compete with a Glacial soap in menthol power, and does it ever lather nicely. The Diana Sport balm with the Bergamot Vetiver aftershave from Henri et Victoria are two other great face-freezers! :happy088: :happy088:

    Monday:

Prep: Hot shower, Nivea for Men Original Moisturizing Face Wash, TSD Jasmine Sambac preshave balm
    Brush: Simpsons 56 Best Badger
Lather: Ginger's Garden Coffee Jasmine soap (with mango butter)
    Razor: RazoRock Bamboozled RAKE OC
    Blade: Bic Chrome Platinum (2)
    Passes: WTG, XTG, XTG (3, 4, 5)
Post: Cold water rinse, Thayer's witch hazel & aloe vera pad, Myrsol Metilsol AS splash
    Cologne: Xeryus by Givenchy

The good news is I caught the baby; day 2 with this Bic blade and a by-now extremely familiar setup produced BBS results. The bad news is a couple of minor weepers appeared over my Adam's Apple, reminding me not to confuse familiarity with grounds for complacency.

Monday, November 23, 2015 - Day 3 without hot water
No shave today. When my wife heard my muffled gasps of pain when I splashed freezing water on my face, she said, "You reach a point where you can no longer call it 'refreshing.'"
