Thanks, Jeff. I`m assuming you use a brush with it. I`ve been using Willams soap ($1.17/cake), it`s isn`t a thick lather, but efficient, and cheap. I really like Proraso.
I use it when I want to pamper myself, like this morn., it really felt good and thick. I`ve had two people recommend Palmolive, so I guess I should try it.Thanks for your advice, best wishes and God Bless.

Yes, a brush must be used with the Palmolive creams. It's true that Williams is cheap, but I can't get a good lather from it no matter how hard I try. I also enjoy Proraso from time to time.

The best wishes to you as well and God bless you. :)

A very nice three pass BBS shave with just a bit of touch up. I lost track of how many times this blade has been used, also used it in another razor at one time. Guess that's why I needed some touch up, but still pleased with the shave. I did get more irritation than usual, found that out after I applied the after shave. On a side note, I have sensitive skin along with a tough beard and I don't mind a slight bit of sting with after shave, as that's normal for me. But today, wow, even tho I didn't realize the irritation when shaving, I found out afterwards.

Bought it in the Made in Michigan store in Grand Rapids with some Detroit Grooming soaps. I just love the scent of Haunted Woods. I leave it in the den all the time just for the fragrance. I wish they would make a shave soap, and one with this scent. I like to support the locals!

    Shaved Sunday 13-11-16.
Shaving Co essential oils, Stirling Coniferous soap, Finnish badger brush LS 26 mm, Kamisori by Fukutarou Tanifuji brand Kent, After shave Irish Moss, Clarins Men balm.
I had used it on 3 occasions with good results, but today I got the maximum of them with all the calm of the world prepare a cushioned and protective foam with the help of this good badger besides invading the whole space to forest, where the rare and interesting Kamisori Western style made its job easy and placidly, to end with baby skin, the intoxicating scent of Sir Iris Moss and the softness provided by Clarins.

Razor:Timeless Stainless Steel C .95 gap w/Timeless Barber Pole Handle
    Blade: Gillette Silver Blue (1)
Brush: El Druida Red Heart Chakte Kok/African Blackwood 2 Band
    Soap: Route 66 Ghost Town
    Aftershave: Floid Blue

Sometimes everything comes together for a pure BBS. Today was one of these shaves. Timeless Razor OC is amazing and with my favorite blade Gillette Silver Blue things just work out. The brush with the 2 band knot is amazing. Route 66 Ghost Town is outstanding soap. :happy088:.

how would you compare the Rte 66 GT to Chiseled Face's Ghost town Barber?(if you've tried the latter, that is). When I saw the ingredients in the CF, I was thinking, Manliness all over the place.

Paul, I haven't used Chiseled Face's Ghost Town. I'd like to know the answer to your question. Perhaps someone who has tried both with post a review. Good question.
