    Razor: Hibco SHD - 22 3 pc
Blade: 7`oclcock perma sharp stainless (1)
Lather: Hibco Shave Shoppe Soap Nag Champa (tin)
Pre Shave Oil: Hibco Shave Shoppe Nag Champa
    Brush: Unknown brand
AS: Hibco Shave Shoppe Butter Balm Nag Champa
    Newspaper Date: Jan. 26,1945

Finally, I`ve been able to take a "normal" shave, after 8 days of gumming my food and 4 days nursing my left cheek (electric razor with gentle care).
I feel like a new man, believe me when I say whew, nasty razor. I guess I`m a confirmed "wet shaver". Now, for the shave. With my new found treasure, a 2 pass shave with great surprise, one of the smoothest shaves I`ve experienced in a long while. I need some practice with the soap in the tin, otherwise, smooth as silk on both passes, 1st WTG. So smooth I didn`t hear anything except right next to my ears, whiskers gone, gone. Same experience on 2nd pass. A little extra lather on my neck for clean up, resulting in a BBS+(almost fish territory ). The scent of the Nag Champa pre oil and AS is outstanding.
I really hope (and pray ) that I`m impressed by the performance of the Hibco items and not because they were free. With regards and wishing good shaves for all.

Shave 33. I tried out my newly acquired Friedr. Schlemper. I first did a little refresh on the hone and it came out sharp and smooth. Best shave to date. I did manage to open some past cuts and inflict one or two new small ones. This is about as sharp as my John Clarke but smoother. Some alum noise but not screaming. This one is a keeper. :happy036:

I also got to use my new Shavemac 2 band silver tip. Really nice brush. Like a cross between my Savile Row 3824 and T&H Wellington Super Badger. :happy088:

I found this cream in the Dollar store , It's much like the Body Prescriptions cream I use, Very slick but not too much cushion it has a very pleasant scent,a very light cedar note with just a touch of a Old Spice scent not over powering at all.I also think it has a nice post shave feel too. But as with everything else YMMV!:) Steve

Razor: Gillette Goodwill 1930's Ball End Open Comb (Made in Canada) PIF from Spud form PEI.
    Blade: Personna Platinum (3)
Brush: Franks Shave Finest Faux Ebony (Travel)
    Soap: Route 66 Bourbon Jungle
Aftershave: Route 66 Bourbon Jungle Balm
Once again I have a very close comfortable near BBS shave with this razor. The travel brush is a real winner. Route 66 Bourbon Jungle is an out standing soap and the aftershave balm complements the shave perfectly.

Good afternoon friends. This was my shave yesterday and I am just now getting around to posting it. I had two firsts yesterday. First time using XXX and first time using a feather blade. I loaded up the XXX for about 5 seconds and then began building my lather. As I was building my lather and the full depth of the XXX scent profile was released I though "man this would pair great with Florida Water". After I worked the great smelling soap into a nice lather I painted on my face. With a nice lather on my face I was ready to take on what many dub the sharpest DE blade out there. I expect the heavens to part and the angels to sing and the whiskers to just disappear. I guess I had set my expectations too high. While it is a good blade don't get me wrong I don't feel that it is superior to my other top tier blades. And at 3-5X the price if other premium offerings I just don't see the value. After 3 passes I had a dfs and did manage to give myself a weeper, which I haven't don't in a very long time. Other then that there was no irritation. Finished off with a splash of Florida Water which did pair nicely with the XXX. Have a great evening my friends!
