    Prep: Stirling mentholated pre-shave soap
    Blade: GEM stainless
    Razor: GEM 1912
    Brush: Surrey badger
    Lather: Soap Commander Fortitude
Post: Witch hazel, Jeeves of Hudson Street Tobacco and Bay Leaf aftershave
    WTG, touch up

Good shave this morning. The 1912 wasn't quite as comfortable as some of my other recent shaves. The blade was new so that may have factored in. Regardless, good shave with no major issues. Terrific lather from Soap Commander's Fortitude and a nice finish from the Jeeves splash.

    Have a great day!

Well, I called a major audible at my "Shave Den Of Scrimmage".....with today being rather chilly, an the next week or so being once again like Indian Summer, I figured I'd go to a winter favorite: Thus, I brought out the Stoylin Barbershop soap and the next-in-line brush happened to be my Stoylin "li'l brudder". Finished off with Clubman Original, A.S. Along with using Clubman Country Club shampoo(prior to the shave), it was a nice Clubman/Stoylin combination to get my day going.

It's really cold outside this morning but since I'm a nutcase I still opted for a grand freeze and the Glacial MITA soap gave me just that along with tons of rich lather, its wonderful scent, and plenty of soothing. The Glacial Unscented balm and the Snake Bite prolonged the freeze so nicely. BBS in three sweet passes!

    A great day to all!

I'm guessing that Montreal and Boston have similar weather jetstreams. If I'm right, ya better make sure there's a lot of Meeter left for the next week :)

Don't worry. I have plenty of both the Glacial version and the regular one.

Crikey what a great shave. Both razors with fresh Nacets, new Mamba for the beard, new Ikon SBS for the head shave. For the Mamba I used a lighter than stock titanium Halo handle which improves balance. Extremely mild but efficient enough with one day's growth. Talk about an easy shave. The SBS using the Mamba's handle is heavy (125g) and takes some adjustment, as does finding the angle, but it's a great shaver. With a little practice this will be a one pass BBS for my head shave.[IMG]

    Gillette 7 O'Clock Super Stainless (4)
    Anchorset
    IB Amici soap and AS

Eight years ago today my bride and I said "I do". Wanting to stay smooth all day long I decided to make it a morning shave today. The Leresche was smooth and efficient, a very nice pairing with the 7 O'C SS. Next shave I will compare it with a Old Type Single Ring to see which is more aggressive. The Leresche was plenty efficient to pull off a two pass BBS with minor touch up. Have a great day my friends!

Pre-shave: Hot Shower & Shave Secret (not pictured)
Shave Cream: Barbasol Sensitive Skin ( http://theshaveden.com/forums/threa...m-travel-can-experiment-sensitive-skin.57755/ )
    Razor: 1970 Gillette Adjustable (P-1)
    Blade: Personna Blue (3)
Post-shave: Thayer's Lavender WH, Nivea "Maximum Hydration" Post Shave Balm, Pinaud Clubman Bay Rum AS

This is Shave #3 to find out how many shaves a person can get from a travel size can of Barbasol Sensitive Skin shave cream. This is my second shave with the '70 Gillette black beauty. I was mistaken yesterday, this razor is a P-1, not a P-3 as I noted yesterday. Fairly minor error, but during my career I had a reputation of being a stickler on getting the details right in documentation so I feel I have to set the record straight.

Today I set the razor at #5 and I didn't look back. 1st pass... grand. 2nd pass... magnificent. After the 2nd pass I felt around on my face to determine where I needed clean-up and thought, "No! This can't be. Don't tell me this joyous experience is over already! I always have some clean-up to do." I pretended I had an exposed hair or two on my neck, even though I didn't feel any, so I could enjoy a clean-up pass. I love this razor!

I hope everyone else enjoys an equally joyful shave!
