The Col. Conk Bay Rum Shave Soap face-lathered well with my Jayaruh #27 Silver Tip brush. First pass with my Merkur 15c Open Comb razor followed by second pass with the Gillette Aristocrat (1947 Birth Year Razor) with a Personna Super blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, alum block, and a final cold water rinse, I finished off with Thayers Lemon WH and then Pinaud Lilac Vegetal after shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

I am so up in the air about tomorrow's shave, I added a closet door storage rack that is now full with tins and jars that I haven't touched in some time. Do I go cold? Or something old? Hmmm. Or both?

This will be my final week using the New LC for OCtober. This is my favorite overall razor, as it delivers consistently superior shaves with relative ease. Using the Mongoose handle with the New head provides slightly more control compared to the ball-end handle. On Sunday, I plan to begin using my Feather Artist Club SS for NOVember. I look forward to the change, as using the Feather AC always helps me improve my overall skills. I should finish up my container of Trumper's Coconut this week. It's one of my favorite creams in terms of performance and scent. Next up is MdC scented.

The Myrsol Emulsion contains the only menthol and its very little. With winter just around the corner (we usually get snow before halloween) I dont think Ill be using too many mentholated products for awhile unless I know Im staying inside....

I'm warming up for the start of the World Series on Tuesday with a shave soap that captures the scent of the ballpark! It brings me right back to the smell of the grass, clay dirt and even a hint of tobacco, beer and a bit of mustard! I couldn't be more excited to see my hometown team back in the Series - Amazing!
