    Razor: Gillette SS `48 - `50
    Blade: Personna comfort Coated (1)
    Brush: VDH Badger
    Lather: Hibco Nag Champa
Pre Shave Oil: Home Made (not shown)
    AS: Hibco Nag Champa
    Newspaper Date: Dec. 5,1943

Been gone for awhile, glade to be back home. Had a nice comfortable 2 pass shave this morning. 1st pass, WTG, so easy and smooth with the SS. The 2nd pass, ATG/XTG, the same, so comfortable, and smooth resulting in a DFS +. Happy shaving.

That's a cool filter Robert. So are you pretty much an "Injector Gadget" type of guy now?

First time using the iKon El Jefe SE\90mm SE setup and I can see why some gents had issues with the blade placement. Mine had a lot of play around the two pins to drop the blade onto so I tilted the cap towards me a little so the blade came forward against the pins, knowing it might give me more blade exposure and tightened down the base. Blade was even across the gap and no blade play so I went forward with the shave. Well I definitely could feel the blade, like an '11 Muhle R41 and not sure if it was blade exposure, a Day 14 used blade or both. Anyway it cut down everything in its path and I felt no whiskers remaining when I rubbed with the grain but could feel slight stubble against the grain so I went forward with the 2nd pass and again could feel the blade but no blood, thankfully. I rinsed off and result was a 2 pass BBS even with a Day 14 blade. I then reached for the Monster Alum Block expecting some sting like I always get with the '11 R41 but alas, no sting at all. Next time I will tilt the head away from my body to see if the blade exposure is less and try again. For $20 for the "blem", it is a heck of a deal.

Hot water wash with nivea mens face wash and a washcloth
    FS silvertip
    Bombed Cella
    RazoRock German 37
    Ladas (2)
    Iced Brut classic
Today's shave was excellent. The FS silvertip is outstanding. The slant made short work of my stubble. Finished with iced Brut, the essence of cool men.
Hope y'all did as well, or better. 20161106_104517_resized.jpg

I dare say that I am going to compare the aggressiveness of my '41 Milord Tech to that of my 2013 Mühle R41.

    SHAVE OF THE DAY
    20161106_113520.jpg

    Prep: Musgo Real Oakmoss
    Razor: Schick Injector
    Blade: Schick
    Brush: Fine Angel Hair synthetic
    Soap: PPF Oakmoss & Sage
    Post: LT/ Cool Water balm

2 pass shave early this morning. lost track of the number of shaves on this blade and ended up paying the price because of it. the PPF soap makes a strange cottage cheese consistancy of lather, but it was slick and abundant. still was not enough to save the day however. ended up with some irritation on the neckline which hopefully will cool down as the day goes on. have a great shave everyone!

Prep - Noxzema / Hot towel
    Pre shave - Proraso
    Razor – ‘The Rock’ (Rockwell 6S – #3)
Blade – Gillette 7 O'Clock Super Platinum (black)
Brush - 'The Duke' (Duke 3 Best)
Soap – Chiseled Face – Pine Tar
Post - Witch Hazel, Jojoba oil.

Another fantastic shave with ‘The Rock’/7 O'Clock Super Platinum combo.. and 'The Duke' made light work of the Pine Tar soap, which provided a wonderful, protective lather.. Sweet!

So, if you saw my previous picture, you saw the crazy gap I put on this thing. I was wary doing so because my first shave was just "okay". Lots of blade action on the last one. 180° change for this one. All around very smooth and pleasant. Looking forward to further tests.
