Here are 2 rarely seen Gillettes that are among the most prized of my collection. Seem to be mint and I will keep them that way -- for now. Along with my recently acquired 1951 Anniverary Edition and the #19 Aristocrat, these are my favorites among the gold family. 1956 Milady in its unique white leather case. What a well designed case. And then the 1959 Flare tip Presentation set. Also in a white leather case. Totally mint. 52 years old -- not at retirement age yet -- in fact she's not even begun to work! Gold plated and worth their weight in...
Beautiful! I would say more, but my mouth is full of drool. Those leather cases are really nice, too.
Why have I never seen a gold flare-tip superspeed before? They must really be rare. Nice ones, Jake... where do you come up with the coolest razors???
Truly rare -- that flare tip. I'd never seen one before either & so couldn't pass up the Ebay purchase of this one.
Good eye, it would have been easy to assume that the lighting just made it look gold, I've seen that many times on the bay
