I have a Barbasol Floating Head I am looking at getting replated. After a little digging, I think I have my choices narrowed down to Hibco and Sport Shaving. I am planning on doing this in rhodium. Does anyone have any feedback on past experience they have had with either of these two shops?

I have bought numerous razors and brushes from Nick at Sport Shaving. Only one of the razors was a replate done by him. It is a 1940/41 Gillette Milord Tech. He played it in 24 karat gold. I have had the razor two years now, and it still looks fantastic! I will also say he is very good with brushes too. I highly recommend Sport Shaving!

I ended up sending the razor to Sport Shaving, and Nick just sent me the after pics. It came out very well. I am looking forward to giving it a test run in a few days, once it is back home.

Sweet looking razor. Ain't it great to have a "new" vintage shaver?
