Suggestions for a second safety razor

    Hello. Since my Edwin Jagger 89 DE is broken, I will buy a second razor. I was thinking of a Muehle R89 or a Parker 26C. Any suggestions?

    Tech, Super Speed or Fat Boy. Personally don't how you could wrong with any of them.

    The Muhle you mention has the same head as your EJ (Cooperative design venture), or you could try a Slim, SS, or Tech. Really, it's hard to go wrong with vintage Gillettes.

    An R89 is the exact same razor head with a slightly different handle. If you like that head, look at Maggards and buy a clone head with a great stainless handle. Or look at a 4 pk. Bundle from them which has four different heads: open comb, closed comb, aggressive and slant. You can get them all for not much more than an EJ.

    1952 Super Speed Black Tip. I settled on either a Voskhod or Shark Super Chrome. Smooth as silk.
