A new Theme Week!! Thank You Week - Credit where credit is due! Shout out a thanks to someone here at the Den by using something they gave you. PIF month wasn't too long ago, and I've notice quite a few more PIFs have actually been going on (you guys and gals are great - I love this place!). Show off what you got and give a pat on the back to the person who gave it to you.
Big thanks to Drew23 & HeloGuy! I won a blade sampler pack from Helo which was awesome because I got to try some blades I never knew existed and found one or two I really like. I also won an Arko stick from Drew and a couple of blades too. The Arko stick was awesome and now is one of my favorites. This of course fired up my RAD which then caused me to order an arko stick & 3 round push up deodorant containers. I then filled up one of the containers with the stick I purchased and now have it in my travel bag. I put one half of the stick from Drew in my Den and the other half at my girlfriends house in my mini-den there. I now have my eye on a shave stick with the scent Marlboro.
Thanks to weeper warrior for the super speed he pifed to me. Unfortunately I cannot use it this week due to pifing it to one of my young friends learning to wet shave.

Thanks to Barrylu for the hot towel mask, it has really improved my pre shave. Blanka for the Voskhod blades of which I ended up buying 200, and everyone here that has contributed a wealth of knowledge.

I haven't won or received any PIF's but would like to say thanks to you all for welcoming to TSD with such open arms. I look forward to reading the new posts each day and conversing with all of you. Monday & tuesday I used a vintage DVH boar brush I got from a friend from the archery club (used to be her father's brush). Soft & dense with a lot of backbone. A great face latherer and bowl latherer. Some months after she gave me the DVH she also gave me a vintage Travel King boar brush which I used today and will use tomorrow. It works great lathering the mint soap Sara-s sent me! It gives a rich, creamy lather and has a great minty odour. And all the while I was using the two Shake Sharp Razors (bakelite and silver) which PlanofMan kindly let me use for two weeks. Then they're off to the next tester.
Thanks to all of you who helped me sort out my first new razor purchase.. Yesterday I received my Merkur 34C along with all the required prep, shave and finishing products required to enjoy a very close nick free shave this morning.
I have a pretty set routine, but had almost my last shave with CTAPT (Start) shaving cream. The diminutive tube is all but empty. With some luck, I can squeeze out one more shave from it. It was a generous gift from Dmitry (ASD).

I haven't done much with PIF but I did receive some Ted pellas from gorgo and mama bears from gunslinger. I am thankful for both of those, but unfortunately those are all packed up so I can't use them. Mostly I'm thankful for the community here. I think the willingness to give on this forum is great and is one of the things that makes the forums a great place to be.
