    Well it was a surprise its the 1954 Ball End Tech is way more aggressive than the Pre War Fat Handle Tech and less reliant on angle. It's an easier razor to use but in some places less efficient but that may me just the need to alter technique a bit. The Ball End may end up as my daily .. it was very surprising and very nice. The feed back was a lot louder.
    The Prewar Fat Handle is a more refined luxurious shave ... I might keep this one for special occasions or if I feel a bit of luxury is needed to lift the spirits. It would be good for that quick touch up before going out for the evening for date night to help set the mood.

    Sounds like a good shave!! I have not shaved with the ole ball end in awhile. Maybe this week sometime.

    I mostly use badgers and boars, this brush has a special connection to TSD so it has a permanent home in den.

    I find synth brushes send lather all over the bathroom.

    Add water by dripping it onto the knot between the handle and the soap mass, invert and let the soap catch the water.
