. Well I guess I'll have to be careful in my search then... I think I've mostly seen Model 2's?

Cool. I need better shears for that.

Awesome! How did you make the adapter. I think I'll be messing with some Insta-Morph this weekend!

First shave with a Proline in the Diplomat. Exposure demands a very light touch but the blade works very well here.[IMG]

I've recently won a Dehaven V2. so there seems to be no chance of acquiring an adapter. What kind of tool can be used to cut Gem blade in half?

No idea, have only used injector blades or stock.

Rarest of the DeHavens seems to be this Model No.4 (1936). NOS in shipper but packed with a blade for the No. 3. Certainly one of Dehaven's downfalls was changing blade types three times during their brief production period.[IMG][IMG]

Do you think you can mod a modern blade to use on this razor?

A DE blade perhaps if I had the stock blade to dismember to use to secure it in. Like the Model 3 there is no cap just a blade with hooks secured in the back of the razor. I"ll be on the lookout for a stock "Insto-Keen" blade.
