I picked this one up, in a razor lot. There were three razors, including the Gillette Fatboy, that cost a total of $15.50. So, I ended up with this mess, which I couldnt identify the year, at first: A couple of hours soaking in hot water and Palmolive took the crud off. The Safety Bar gap was uneven, and rubbing on the other side, when opening, so I straightened that out. A 2 min fix. I then polished it with some flitz, and this is what I have. It turned out to be a D-4, not brand new looking, but better. So, Moral of the story, don't pass up on a nasty looking Gillette Fatboy. You never know what lurks beneath the crud.
