The Fatty Razor from Detroit Grooming Co.

Does anyone have one? I'm curious as to how well you like it?

Looks a lot like a Maggards MR8 or MR3.

 

You can visit the official Detroit Grooming Company website, Facebook, and on Amazon. It sells for $27-$30. They make some very cool looking razors as well as soaps and such. I think the Fatty would look even nicer if it were sent off to Delta Echo for some different coatings!

The problem with sending a razor like this in for a coating is the coating cost more than the razor.

 

Thanks for that. I think Detroit buys their handles and then slaps their own head on it. I really like the head w/ the Detroit logo on it. Tough choices...

 

That crossed my mind as well. However, if it looks completely amazing, I might think it's worth it. I love ALL the work done by Delta Echo.

 

Why not have Delta Echo do the handle (assuming it is stainless) in a color that makes a cool contrast with the head? You still have the Detroit logo, a cool looking razor, and the only money you sunk into it is in the handle which will last forever.

It definitely is a cool looking razor, I really like how they have the logo on the cap. I don't have a razor done by Delta Echo, maybe I should..

 

I have the Scotch and Stowe, and it is a fine razor.
