    Today's cold water shave featured the PAA Bakelite Slant on its maiden shave with JoHS shave soap. It was a really fine shave with no issues.

    Friday the Thirteenth's Cold Water Shave featured the PAA Bakelite Slant razor with a Personna Super blade (35) and Jeeves of Hudson Street shaving soap. Cold water is where it is at. Somewhere I read that cold water preparation makes the beard hairs easier to cut.

    My Orange Menthol Soap
    Dickinson's Witch Hazel
    Pinaud Clubman After Shave

    Even though I like using my other Gem razors (1912, Pushbutton, Featherweight, Micromatic OC), the G-Bar is my favorite. For me, it's weight and balance are perfect and I always expect great shaves from it. And today was no exception as it delivered a very smooth and comfortable three pass BBS shave.
