    I've always used hot water when shaving with cartridges, because I never thought to try anything different. I switched to a DE razor about a week ago, with my first few shaves being with hot water like usual. I tried cold water on my 3rd shave and I'm never going back. The difference was crazy! So much less irritation.

    Today was my second cold water shave. I'm a believer! My face has been a bit raw in spots, but the last 2 days with cold water have helped the razor burn start to heal! It feels sssooo much better! The information on this site is better than sliced bread! Thanks to all those who provide good solid information to us greenhorns!
